Porto Selvaggio

The Park of Porto Selvaggio and Captain Marsh is a regional park of the province of Lecce in Puglia site set up by the Regional Law of 15 March 2006, No 6.

In 2007 he was introduced by the Italian Environment Fund (FAI) in the list of "100 places to save. "

The park lies entirely within the town of Nardo. Includes the area of Natural Park (established in 1980) and Captain Marsh (classified as a natural area in 1997).

The coast is rocky and indented, and characterized by pine forests and Mediterranean scrub. Along the coast are located the High Tower and the Tower Uluzzo.
